Canary Islands (in Spain) benefits of the most convenient fiscal system of the Euro Area: corporation tax 4%
The economic and tax system of the Canary Islands (REF) is due to a scheme of regional aid to investment and social aims needed by this special spanish area
The first tax exemptions have been established in the archipelago of the Canary islands in 1852 we refer to the approval of the so called “Law of the free ports by Bravo Murillo” (Ley de puertos francos de Bravo Murillo).
Nowadays this special economic and tax system is granted by the Spanish Constitution but also by the Autonomic Statute of the Canary islands and by the Treat of the European Union.
Companies established in the Canary Islands investing in this beautiful spanish archipelago obtain a reduction of 90% of the tax base.
